The Xerox Intelligence Filer app uses artificial intelligence to determine the Document Type or “Category” of what you have scanned, and then extract the key Document Name Variables to create a name. If you have found that the Intelligent Filer app did not perform as expected, please use the following process to improve the results, and help the Intelligent Filer AI engine learn:

- Within the ticket, please be sure to attach the original document, as well as the document language.
- Please also include the Document Type you are expecting for the document and whether the app identified the type correctly.
- If the Document Name Variables are incorrect, please provide as much detail as possible as to what you are seeing and what you expected.
We will use this information to further train the artificial intelligence engine we use with the expectation that we can improve the results.
We will get back to you within 5-10 business days with the results of the engine training. In some cases, we may be able to make the updates more quickly.
Note: Your document will be shared with our development partners under NDA but will be purged once the training is complete.
